Once in a while you come across some artwork at a funky flea market for Very Cheap, and you just get a feeling that the artist will be big someday soon, so you buy the piece that's screaming your name anyway because you HAVE to own it to look at every day. but you also know that someday soon you'll be at a cocktail party going, "oh, well I have some of his early work." and you will realize that you love the piece just the same, but now kind of smile because you just knew it.
